You can enjoy this low-calorie savory bread pudding, full of mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and cheese, which simply makes the best for a hearty dinner. Every serving of this pudding contains a reputable 288 calories.

Recipe:

1.	Beat the eggs in a large convenient bowl. Add hot sauce, 1/8tbsp pepper, milk, 1/2tbsp salt, and beat until properly mixed. Add bread and then, coat suitably. Cover it and refrigerate for half an hour.

2.	In the meantime, have the over preheated to 350 degrees F. Coat an 8-cup glass or ceramic baking dish with a cooking spray. Keep a kettle of water for boiling for the water wash.

3.	Follow the package instructions to cook the spinach. Drain and restore with cold water. Squeeze out the excess water moisture and set it aside.

4.	Get the oil heated over medium heat in a big non-stick skillet. Add bell pepper and onion. Keep stirring it for 4-5 minutes till it turns golden and tender. Add garlic and mushrooms, and continue stirring for a proper blend. Get the heat reduced to medium-low. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes until it turns tender.

5.	Uncover it and get the heat increased to medium. Continue stirring and cook for about 5 minutes till all the excess moisture from mushrooms has dispersed and the mushrooms have turned brown. Add 1/4tbsp salt, 1/8tbsp pepper, and spinach. Cook for more 2 minutes.

6.	Add ½ cup cheese and mushroom mixture to the egg mixture and stir it. Scrape it into the baking dish. Sprinkle over its top ½ cup cheese. Keep the baking dish in a large pan and put boiling water on the dish’s sides about halfway of the pan. Bake it in the oven for about an hour. Serve when it slightly cools down.
