INGREDIENTS:

1 pkg. dry yeast (2 1/2 tsp.)
1 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk (6 tbsp. dry to 2 c. water)
3/4 c. corn oil
1/4 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
6 c. flour

DIRECTIONS:

Dissolve yeast into water and dump in rest of ingredients. Stir in real well. Place in covered bowl in ice box. Take out amount needed after punching down. Spread out on floured board and cut out with biscuit cutter. Place on ungreased pan and bake immediately 12-14 minutes at 450 degrees. 400 degrees in summer.
