Pumpkin Bread Recipe


1 1/2 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Soda
1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
14 ounces Flour (sifted)
1/2 cup Oil
2 Eggs
1 cup Canned Pumpkin
1/2 cup Water
1/2 cup Nuts
1/2 cup Dates


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease loaf pan. Sift dry ingredients together. In a separate bowl, mix together the oil, eggs, pumpkin and water. Add to dry ingredients. Mix with a mixer on medium speed until well-blended. Stir in nuts and dates. Bake 1 1/2 hours.
