Cheese French Bread


1 lg. loaf French bread
Swiss cheese (sliced)
1 stick soft butter
2 tbsp. mustard
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 tbsp. poppy seed


Slice across the top of the loaf about every 1 1/2″ to 2″. Place a slice of cheese in each cut. Place bread in foil leaving major portion of top of the loaf exposed. Spread butter, mustard, onion and poppy seed mixture over the bread. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
