Monkey Bread

INGREDIENTS:

4 cans biscuits, each cut into fourths
2 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. butter

DIRECTIONS:

Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bag. Drop 4 to 5 pieces of biscuit at a time into the bag and shake until well coated. Put into a greased bundt pan.

Melt remaining ingredients until mixed together. Do not boil. Pour hot mixture over coated biscuits. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Monkey Bread

INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS:

4 cans Pillsbury biscuits
1/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. cinnamon

Cut biscuits into 4’s. Mix and roll each piece in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Put pieces in layers into well greased bundt pan.

In a small pot heat the following until boiling:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter

Pour this mixture over biscuits and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Let cool and remove from pan. To eat just pull off pieces.

Monkey Bread

INGREDIENTS:

4 (10 count) cans canned biscuits
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tube cake pan, greased, no flour

DIRECTIONS:

Mix sugar and cinnamon together. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces, then drop each piece of biscuit into tube pan. Just place biscuit pieces into tube pan, do not press down.

Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil and let boil for 1 minute. Then pour over top of biscuit pieces covered with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes and then serve. Best when served warm.
