Crawfish Zombie Bread
Ingredients:
# 1 tbsp garlic, minced
# 1/4 lb butter
# 8 ounce extra sharp Cheddar, grated
# 1 tbsp mayonnaise
# 2 tsp lemon juice
# 1 tsp Tabasco
# Dash Worcestershire sauce
# 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
# 1 tbsp green onions, chopped
# 1/4 tsp fresh thyme leaves
# 1/2 lb crawfish tails, chopped
# 1 loaf French bread, halved lengthwise
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350~.
2. In a food processor, combine garlic, butter, cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Tabasco and Worcestershire until smooth.
3. Add onions, parsley and any available crawfish fat.
4. Pulse until blended.
5. Transfer to bowl.
6. Fold in chopped crawfish tails.
7. Chill 30 minutes.
8. Spread mixture on open-faced bread.
9. Bake for 15 minutes.
