Bread Pudding
INGREDIENTS:
4 c. bread crumbs or leftover biscuits
2 1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins (optional)
Butter
6 eggs
DIRECTIONS:
Crumble bread, soak in milk until soft. Add sugar, vanilla, eggs and salt. Beat until foamy, add soaked raisins. Stir and pour into deep baking dish. Top with bits of butter, bake at 400 degrees until set or until knife comes out clean. Serve plain or with whipped cream, chocolate or vanilla pudding on topping.
