Banana Nut Bread
INGREDIENTS:
3/4 c. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 c. white flour
1 c. whole wheat flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. chopped fine pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/2 c. ripe bananas
DIRECTIONS:
Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat. Sift flour (white); add and sift soda, salt, and baking powder with flour. Add alternately with buttermilk wand white and wheat flour. Add nuts, bananas, and vanilla. Bake in bundt pan or 2 loaf pans at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
