INGREDIENTS:
1/4 c. extra-virgin olive oil
1/8 tsp. onion powder and 1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 2/8 tsp. of either
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. chili powder*
1/4 tsp basil
1/8 tsp ground pepper or paprika
slices of bread (for dipping)
DIRECTIONS:
This bread dip is great for parties or just a family dinner.
Combine all ingredients. serve in a flat dish or plate.
This dip is best when served with a SOURDOUGH BREAD or any Italian bread!

SOURDOUGH BREAD:
Mix 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder with 2-3 tablespoons butter, spread over 8-12 (small) slices of bread; bake @ 400 for 8-10 min., or until golden or toasted.
Note: Dip can also be brushed over the bread before baking.
