Cranberry Orange Bread

INGREDIENTS:

2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
Grated rind of 1 orange
Juice of 1 orange, plus water to make 3/4 c. OR
3/4 c. orange juice
1 c. raw cranberries, cut in half

DIRECTIONS:

Measure flour and blend dry ingredients. Mix in shortening, orange rind, juice and egg. Fold in cranberries. Bake one hour at 350 degrees in a well greased loaf pan. Cool thoroughly before slicing
