INGREDIENTS:
1/2 lb. raisins
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
DIRECTIONS:
Boil the raisins in 1 1/2 cups of water until very soft; cool. Mix brown sugar, eggs and oil next, then add the dry ingredients; mix well. Grease and flour three 1-pound size pans. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
