INGREDIENTS:
3 1/2 c. corn bread, crumbled
3 1/2 c. bisquits, crumbled
1/2 c. melted butter
1/2 c. onion, minced
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 eggs, beaten lightly
3 c. chicken broth
Savory seasoning to taste
Salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
This is a messy recipe and really requires using your hands to mix together, rather than a spoon. Place crumbled corn bread and crumbled bisquits in roasting pan. Add melted butter, onion, celery, pepper, beaten egg and chicken broth, savory seasoning and salt. Mix together well but gently with hands.
Place in shallow, greased pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 15-25 minutes uncovered. Don’t cook too dry. Better a little moist.
