INGREDIENTS:
1 recipe corn bread, crumbled
1/2 lb. bacon, crisp fried and crumbled
2 med. green peppers, chopped
2 med. onions, chopped
4 med. tomatoes, chopped
1/2 c. sweet pickles, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sweet pickle juice
1 tsp. sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Make corn bread using 2 cups meal. Using large bowl, layer corn bread, bacon, onions and tomatoes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and sweet pickles.
Make as many layers as necessary. Combine mayonnaise, pickle juice and sugar; blend well. Drizzle over salad and toss lightly. This recipe will keep several days.
