Bread Pudding

INGREDIENTS:

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, melted
3 eggs
1 lb. can crushed pineapple
1 sm. loaf bread
2 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 qt. milk
Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

Beat eggs; add sugar, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, and juice from pineapple. Mix well; put bread crumbs in greased 9 x 13 pan. Alternate with layers of bread and pineapple, sprinkle with cinnamon; bake in moderate oven until brown. Top with instant vanilla or lemon jello pudding mix when serving.
