Banana Health Bread

INGREDIENTS:

2 c. unsifted whole wheat flour
1 c. unsifted yellow cornmeal
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. mashed ripe bananas (about 3 med.)
1 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. molasses
1/2 c. raisins

DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together flour, cornmeal, salt, and baking soda. Stir in bananas and remaining ingredients. Turn into two oiled and floured 4 x 8 inch loaf pans. Bake at 45 minutes or until cake tester inserted in the middle comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before turning out of pans.
